This Site!
This site will promote 1:24 scale modelling,
mainly New Zealand prototypes but have ventured out to the odd
free lance model. I hope you will enjoy the site and iit gives you the
inspiration to have ago at scratch
building....... All the best Kerry.
About
The Railway
The rebuild of the AFR hopefully will start this
year, the old railway was abandoned and pulled up after management
decided to modify it's operation. The NZR rolling stock will be the main
stay of the roster but also keeping things interesting I will be running
USA Trains 1:29 for the long trains.
The scratch building will still be happening but at a slower rate and
will be updated on the site when progress has been made. The railway's
mainline will be increased in length for big trains, the trains will run
in and out of there own shed but stage one will be half the main line
around the garden so plants can get established. Hope we will soon hear
the sound of trains rolling around the back yard once again........
